Location: Ajman, UAE

Ajman is the smallest of the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates, alongside Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Fujairah, Umm Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah.

It’s culture is steeped in exceptional hospitality, which is an inherited tradition borne out of the austere natural environment and the resulting emphasis on receiving and providing for guests.

Ajman’s rich cultural heritage and customs are the result of thousands of years of varying influences. It has a subtropical, arid climate. Sunny blue skies and high temperatures can be expected most of the year as rainfall is infrequent.

The corniche is a popular evening and weekend destination for families and features a number of fast food outlets, coffee shops and stalls. It is home to the ‘Outside Inn’, a popular watering hole with expatriates, as well as to a number of hotels, including the Ramada, Ajman Palace, the Kempinski, the Ajman Saray and the Fairmont Ajman.
