About the Position

Nursery Principal/Manager – Al Ain. BrightSpark Teachers are currently seeking an experienced Nursery Principal/Manager for a reputed international nursery in Al Ain, UAE. The nursery caters for children aged from 4 months to 4 years old.

Candidates should show a genuine commitment to creating an inspiring and stimulating child-centred learning environment. Candidates will be highly motivated as exemplary practitioners demonstrating a deep understanding of personalised learning. Candidates should be committed to ongoing school improvement and feel comfortable in a climate of innovative and creative development.

Candidates must have:

University Degree in Early Childhood or Education, or a university degree and certified professional certificate (CACHE Level 3/5) in Early Childhood leadership.

At least two years practical experience in early childhood or education, with sufficient knowledge of administrative tasks.

A minimum of three cumulative years in educational leadership as a Manager in British curriculum nurseries.

A knowledge of the British EYFS Curriculum and nursery policies/procedures that relate to the care protection of children.

The nursery is located in a the School Zone of Al Ain, UAE, a city known as the “OASIS of the Middle East” which is a very quiet and preferred for family living. The vibrant cities of Dubai and Abu Dhabi are just 75 minute drive away and the international airport is just 15 minutes away. Fed by natural springs and set amid date-palm plantations, Al Ain was once a vital pit-stop on the caravan route between Oman and the Gulf and is the birthplace of the United Arab Emirates’ founding father, Sheikh Zayed. This sprawling city, radiating out from the green heart of its central oasis, is a laid-back place. Its lack of ultramodern skyscrapers, preserved fort and smattering of Unesco World Heritage sites has given it a reputation as a cultural hub while the zoo and Wadi Adventure water park are popular family destinations on the weekend. It’s all loomed over by the craggy contours of Jebel Hafeet just south of town. Drive up the snaking road to the summit for sweeping views of the arid splendour of the Empty Quarter along the way.

Qualification and Requirements
