About the Position

We are seeking a Malaysian Student Counsellor for an international school in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, for an August 2020 start.

We are looking for Malaysian candidates, or someone who has permission to live and work in Malaysia, for this post. Candidates must have several years of experience as a Student Counssellor or in a similar role and hold a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. Previous experience working in an international school is a plus but is not mandatory for this role.

The school opened in early 2017 and focuses on providing a mix of the British curriculum alongside the best of Asian values and education to give students a truly world-class, international education. The school provides students with a quality education at all levels, and accepts students at aged 3 into the early years program, then onto the International Primary Curriculum for ages 5-11. Students can progress onto the British secondary system with key stages 3, taking iGCSE exams

About the School

The school teaches the IPC curriculum for Primary, the British curriculum for secondary, and the iGCSE curriculum.
