About the Position

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator to take on the role of Education Designer based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This position is to work with a renowned education service provider in Malaysia who run school transformation programmes and aim to improve practices, management and teaching and learning in Malaysian government schools.

The project is well established in Malaysia and already seeing great success. By 2020 the project will be rolled out to all schools in Malaysia. Due to the constant growth of the project, recruitment is ongoing. BrightSpark Teachers work closely with the project to recruit qualified, experienced teachers (of all levels and subjects) to assist with the development of curriculum, the management of education programs and ensuring high standards are maintained.

Candidates should be able to create content as well as deliver it, they should also possess strong analytical/research skills.

About the School

This experienced company design and deliver programmes that help transform learning and teaching in a diverse and growing number of government schools across the country. Training is extensive and there is plentiful support at all levels. The location of the position is in the head office in Kuala Lumpur.

Qualification and Requirements

Hold a Master's degree and/or PhD in Education or other relevant fields. Have a minimum 5 years of relevant working in the education sector. Experience in developing frameworks for Curriculum & Instructional Design within the context of school transformation and/or other education environments, Education Policy & Planning, Teacher Development and Educational Leadership. Candidates must be fully computer literate with Microsoft Office programmes, have an excellent command of oral and written English and good interpersonal skills.
